On Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, did you stop and think about how great Christmas was when you were little and you still believed in Santa! (Sorry for the people who still do!) This happens to me actually quite often! I could be reading a book about science and undergo these thoughts! On Christmas Eve, I spent a lot of time thinking about how I spent the holiday in the past. Of course, We had leave cookies out for santa that we made the night before that were sometimes in the shape of a Reindeer! Santa could eat the cookies as they were a voodoo doll for the special Reindeer moments! You can’t forget about having the house decked out in colored nights from the foundation to the to tallest peek of the roof! Good Times! And you can’t forget to leave out Reindeer food because you can’t forget about them! They get the presents to your house from the North Pole! It was just so magical when your little and so naive. I remember waking up Christmas day at 4 AM finding what Santa has left you under the tree and sometimes beside the tree! ;-P That made you smile! I would then run into my parents room that probably weren’t sleeping, and shake them to death! You wouldn’t feel bad either! Just the thought of tearing through the wrapping paper like there is no tomorrow is so satisfying to me! When you have kids of your own, It makes you want to give them the same special moments of happiness you had as a child. In fact, The best christmas present I think I ever received was my first computer, and from this, started the fascination I have today! Do you remember when you first stopped believing in Santa? I don’t remember the age, but I do remember how the night underwent. I woke up around midnight and noticed the lights were on in the nearby room. My dad was walking in the hallway talking to my mother. I was laying in bed not knowing what to think! All that was going through my head was that they were helping Santa, but I soon figured it out they were Santa! The surprise was still there for me, but I always knew the truth about Santa. Even though I knew this and that, I remembered the true reason for Christmas; It was to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ! Lovely isn’t it!
I will never forget the moment that spent as a child and you shouldn’t either. They are the most precious and most important that you have!
Zachary enjoys long walks on the beach in jeans to hide my long legs and loves to hang out in the outdoors as long as it involves a gazebo or some kind of roof over my head. He dislikes the sun so he is usually inside. Actually that’s where he’s mostly at.
